
Intermediate Throwing: Setting the Table - Thursday Evenings with Michael Adcock (3/6/25 - 4/24/25), 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Tools ($15 + tax for a toolkit) and additional clay ($15-$37 for a 20-25 lb bag) are available for purchase at the studio. Instructor: Michael Adcock Description: Come join Michael's 8-week session as we focus on creating your own custom line of tableware. From creating matching sets of dinner, lunch and dessert plates, to learning the traditional technique of throwing smaller forms, cups, and soup/salad bowls "off the hump". We will also explore the larger tableware forms such as pitchers, platters, and larger serving bowls. This course is suitable for: Intermediate and advanced students. Skill expectation is that the student can confidently center and throw an 6’’ tall basic cylinder. Recommended prerequisite classes: At least one introduction to wheel throwing class (the more experience, the better). 8-Week Class Tim
