Charoite is a rare silicate mineral that was first discovered during the 1940's near the Chara River in Eastern Siberia, Russia. This mineral has a distinctive swirling pattern of various purple color hues, making it a true collector's item. This crushed material has a gorgeous and rich lavender color that slightly darkens when sealed in resin or other adhesives. Our powdered material consists of mostly silt and clay sized particles.
