Kuawa x Guava Chocolate Bar

Guava was introduced to Hawai‘i during initial Western contact in the 1700s. It has spread rapidly and is now considered the Hawaiian islands’ most prolific wild fruit. Guava’s flavor is uniquely tart and sweet, commonly described as a hybrid between a strawberry and a pear. In Hawai‘i the fruit is predominately consumed fresh, in the form of juice, and in jellies and jams. Over the years we’ve gravitated our focus on inclusion flavors that tap into the unique cuisine that Hawai’i is known for. When attending chocolate festivals around the world, it’s exotic flavors like our Liliko’i x Passion Fruit bar that continues to stop people in their tracks and say, “WOW, that’s different!”. This lead us back to the lab inspired to create something exotic, Hawai’i centric, and most importantly; DELICIOUS, that captivates people’s attention and taste buds.
