C. 1890's.  Overall Measurements: 55"W x 45"H The pairing of opposites forms a most sophisticated design: soft corners balance geometric lines. A beveled, rectilinear shelf sits a top a curling cartouche keystone with carved spandrels down to the plinths. A soft rectangular cast-iron surround frames the ornamental summer cover. The marble is richly veined with brilliant blue hues. The overall effect of No. 3 is quite a bold, yet balanced, décor statement.
