Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Confucius’ is one of our favorite varieties of hinoki cypress. The branches fan out on ‘Confucius’ giving the tree a very elegant look The foliage on these branches is green with yellow-green new growth that give it an excellent two-tone effect. ‘Confucius’ growth about half a foot per year eventually reaching roughly 6 feet tall in ten years. ‘Confucius’ can handle sun but would prefer to be given at least some afternoon shade. 10 Year Size: Height: 6-8 feet Width: 4-6 feetColor: Yellow-GreenSun Tolerance: Partial
