Additional tests are included to determine levels of specific Omega-3/6 fatty acids. This panel can guide nutritional intervention to support optimal omega balance and reduce cardiovascular disease risk.OmegaCheck™ measures the amount of fatty acids in red blood cells (RBCs), while most other omega-3 tests look at fatty acid levels in plasma. This provides a more accurate representation of omega-3/6 fatty acids levels over the last 2-3 months and is not skewed by recent omega-3/6 intake.
