Unalomes are spiritual symbols related to Buddhism. They symbolize one’s journey to enlightenment, with life beginning in the spiral, and as one wanders and struggles through life, eventually, the path leads to enlightenment - the straight line on top. The symbol dates as far back as the 6th century AD.
