The original photograph is mounted on aluminum, which gives the effect that the print alone is floating when hung on the wall. 100% acid-free adhesive is used to permanently mount the print on the aluminum. A UV inhibitor is also applied to the photograph. This process protects the image from sunlight and seals the surface so that it can be cleaned with a non-abrasive cloth when necessary.
