Big leaf lupine is native to the pacific northwest and forms nice colonies of purple flowers and grows up to 3-4ft high. The perennial grows well in open gardens and meadows, recently burned forest clearings, wetland edges, and streambanks. In moist soils individual plants may reach up to 5 feet in height with tall vivid blue flower spikes that bloom over many weeks. This is a great pollinator plant for bumble bees and butterflies. May be back ordered 1-2 weeks.
