"Pounders" is a local body surfing and body boarding spot that holds magnificent beauty. It is located far up Oahu's windward coast. The air and peacefulness at this place are unmatchable! Original (40" x 30" Oil on Canvas), in one of Howard's custom made mahogany frames. This painting was done "Plein Air," which means outside, on location. While doing Plein Air, one must capture the essence of each scene quickly as everything the artist sees from color to shadows changes.
