SUMMER CRAB FEST SUNDAY JUNE 8TH

Come on over for a Sunday Supper in the garden, centered around Santa Barbara rock crab and featuring seasonal bounty from the farmers market. Noted for the delicate sweetness of its meat, rock crab is succulent and a personal favorite.  Learn how to cook and shuck it, mallets will be provided, and since we will be outdoors you don't have to worry about making a mess. Enjoy it simply boiled and served with lemon wedges and drawn butter, at the center of an elegant salad, or eat the claws like lollipops dipped in a saffron aioli.  Local fisherman Steve Escobar will not only provide the crab, he also will be pouring some of the wines he produces under his Le Pêcheur label.  There will be fresh baked bread, steamed baby Dutch potatoes and fresh corn,  a secret dessert, and tons of good food and fun.
