Vinaigrette Charmed Box
The first versions of a"vinaigrette" was a pomander, that can be traced back to the Middle Ages and were generally in gold or silver and studded with jewels, pierced to allow the fragrance to disperse. Vinaigrettes evolved from this idea during the late 18th century and were small containers used for holding various aromatic substances. They usually held a tiny piece of sponge soaked in a liquid (like vinegar). It's primary purpose was to mask bad smells. The primary purpose of our Vinaigrette is for your fragrance. Simply soak a cotton ball or a tissue in your favorite fragrance and nestle it in the box and that is all. I'm sure you can think of other things to put in there... of course you can. Our Charmed Box measures 13mm x 13mm x 13mm. 14k Gold 18k Gold and Platinum available by request.
