Barrell Bourbon Batch 007

Many exceptional whiskeys never reach the discerning palates of those who would most appreciate them. Barrell, and its founder, Joe Beatrice's mission is to find and curate the best barrels and batches of whiskey, wherever they may be. This usually keeps Joe on the road a lot, scouring distilleries down South for product which left alone, would likely be forgotten or blended with other whiskeys, forfeiting its unique flavor and style. To preserve the singular characteristics of each batch, bottling is done straight from the barrel. Nothing is added or removed, to preserve the characteristics of the batch and present it untainted.  Unlike traditional distilleries, Barrell, being an independent bottler, is not tied to recreating a single recipe or style. This gives them the freedom to experiment. And it allows us, as whiskey lovers, to live vicariously through them.  Barrell batch 007, is distilled and aged in Tennessee at cask strength bottling (122.4 proof) as is its tradition. The b
