The incredible vintage of 2012 delivered the brand a tiny parcel of exceptional fruit, which has allowed them to make this extraordinary Syrah. After 2 years in the finest French oak it has been cellared for a further 3 years to allow the complex flavours and structure to marry together and achieve harmonious balance. ‘The Bastion’ displays all the hallmarks of our unique vineyard, with incredible presence and power. Intense flavours of cassis and mocha dominate, combining with the soft oak and subtle fine-grained tannins to create a velvety texture on the palate. A wine for lovers of deep, rich Shiraz - resolutely and unashamedly South Australian. ABV: 14.5%
