Diet: Omnivorous - enjoys a varied diet including high-quality flakes, pellets, live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, bloodworms, and small insects. Temperament: Generally peaceful but can become territorial during breeding times. May exhibit hierarchical behavior within a group. Tank Setup: Provide a tall tank with plenty of vertical swimming space and dense vegetation to mimic their natural habitat in the Amazon basin. Dim lighting and soft, acidic water are preferred. Ensure excellent filtration and regular water changes. Compatibility: Best kept in a species-specific tank or with other peaceful Amazonian species.
