Accepts high-quality flake and pellet foods as well as frozen and live foods. Temperament: Peaceful but can be territorial, especially during breeding times. Tank Setup: Provide plenty of hiding spots among rocks, caves, and plants. A sandy substrate is preferred. Requires a well-filtered aquarium with moderate water flow. Compatibility: Generally peaceful but may show aggression towards similar-sized fish, particularly during spawning. Best kept with other peaceful species in a species-specific tank or a community tank with non-aggressive tankmates. Behavior: Active and curious.
