Rutilated Quartz Pendant

An exquisite gem-grade rutilated quartz is gorgeously cut and faceted into a shield shape. It features fine coppery-red and golden strands of rutile in a cross pattern. I’ve crafted a hand built setting of hand-alloyed gold, which is at least 14K - but more likely closer to 17K since I added a bunch of 22K scrap to the melt. But I don’t have one of those karat measuring things, so I’m calling it 14K yellow gold to be safe. Shown on my Charmholder necklace; not included. Sold as the pendant only. Pendant measures 1 5/8” length by 1” at its widest.
