MazdaShifters shift boot heat shields are made from Thermo-Tec Aluminized Silica woven fabric. Slides over the shifter shaft and sandwiches between the upper and lower dust boots. Blocks heat transfer to the interior of the car and prolongs the lifespan of the rubber upper dust boot. Available alone or as a package deal with a Mazda dust boot for a reduced price.
