Black color provides high contrast / visibility against (white) leadlines, yet blends in with manilla and hemp for seizing baggywrinkles, etc. Can also be used for hand sewing, lacing, bushcraft, netting, etc. Medium-firm temper holds it's shape and is easily worked without slippage.
