This is a functionally closed system to minimize sterile breaks. The thumbwheel allows for selective deconstruction of fluid stack for personalized fluid products.  Efficient concentration yields ultra-low hematocrit with only 1 spin and consistently achieves high yields of platelets and mononuclear cells with only 15-20 minute processing time.
