Foundations of Fine Art Pet Composites - May 2022

Join Jessica Hatlen in a private immersive group experience where you will work together to learn to create beautiful fine art pet composites!! This Foundations course is open to ALL skill levels, and each level, from beginner to advanced, will learn and benefit from this month with Jessica! Foundations of Fine Art Pet Composites will begin on May 9th and will continue for 4 weeks. Each Tuesday, Jessica will post an instructional video for you to view, with an assignment. Assignments are due the following Sunday, and Jessica will choose 5 images from the submissions for critique. Critique videos will be posted on Mondays. Week 1: May 9 - Surrealism and storytelling composites with our pets, with a focus on the fine art surrealism techniques and texture use to get a fine art feel. Week 2: May 16 - Fine art pet portraits involving vintage paintings! You will learn the techniques needed to blend your pet portrait into a fine art painting.
