Foundations of Painterly Portraits - August 2022

Join Jessica Hatlen in a private immersive group experience where you will work together to learn to create magically wonderful painterly portraits!! This Foundations course is open to ALL skill levels, and each level will learn and benefit from this month with Jessica! Foundations of Painterly Portraits will begin on August 8th and will continue for 4 weeks. Each Tuesday, Jessica will post an instructional video and each Monday, a critique video from Jessica will be posted. Week 1: August 8 - On week one we will be learning about the mixer brush, and how to use it to get the painterly look utilizing this tool. Week 2: August 15 - This week we will be doing an outdoor painterly image focusing on how to achieve the creamy green tones. Week 3: August 22 - This week we will be using this technique on indoor studio imagery to get beautiful studio painterly portraits. Week 4: August 29 - On our final week we will be using this technique and learning how to introduce more colors into our im
