Asterisk Quilt Pattern

Asterisk is a 3-D quilt pattern using 3 colors (light, medium, dark) and 1 background fabric. The "Asterisk" Quilt is built from a single pattern piece, an equilateral triangle, cut from width of fabric strips with a 60 degree ruler. Stack the triangles in vertical rows and sew the rows together, simple as that! No Y-seams, no hand piecing, no multiple mirror image pieces, just chain pieced straight seams.  Finished size is 40" x 40"
