Aequorea 'Seafarer' Pinot Noir, San Luis Obispo Coast, California, 2022
Overview of the WineAaron began in 2002 with a focus on producing powerful, age-worthy wines from the rugged hillsides of westside Paso Robles. Utilizing vineyards from the most amazing sites their boots could find, they source intense yet balanced fruit from the Willow Creek, Adelaida, and Templeton Gap districts. The goal is to create a wine that is more about overall texture, depth, and coastal complexity than individual site expression. In 2022, the blend is based around five vineyards: Rincon, Spanish Springs, Derbyshire, Edna Ranch and Greengate Vineyards, all of which are less than 6 miles from the Pacific Ocean, making them some of the most coastal vineyards in all of California. 92
