What is Reiki?   Usui Reiki is a Japanese method of energy healing that has been in practice for almost a century. Reiki practitioners become channel for Reiki- or Life Force energy- to flow through for the purpose of self-healing, the healing of others and the planet.    What will I learn during this class?   During your Usui Reiki Level I course  you will learn about the history of Reiki, it's guiding principles and the Reiki lifestyle. We will talk about how Reiki works and explore various research articles that show the impact of Reiki in clinical scenarios. You will learn about the Chakras or energy centers of the body and how blocked energy in the respective chakras can affect one's mental, emotional and physical health. You will experience Reiki through meditations, your Reiki attunement and practice.   By the end of your Level I certification, you will be able to complete Reiki self- healing sessions and offer Reiki to your friends and family.
