Printed with an image of the Asexual Pride Flag we chose to use Hot Pink for the sides. It was a color that adorned the original Gay Pride Flag but was removed in 1979 due to the scarce availability of pink fabric at the time. It is, in essence, a dropped color. So many individuals who do not identify with gender and sexual norms are "dropped" out of our society. Pushed to the side as not deserving of inclusion, not allowed to participate because of fear and bigotry.
