2022 Swick The Flood - OR (750ml)

The Missoula Floods gave shape to Washington-Oregon’s Columbia Gorge and Willamette Valley 10 million years ago. Now they give their name to Joe Swick’s The Flood: a blend of organic and sustainable Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Auxerrois and Riesling. Each is vinified separately, and undergoes a month of skin contact. They age in neutral French oak barrels for 6 months before they are blended to make this aromatic deluge. The dry Flood delivers juicy citrus and tropical guava notes and pairs well with stronger fish and the Kanom Jeeb dumplings around the corner at Glin.
