Lopez Real Mezcal Espadin - Oaxaca, Mexico (750ml)

Lopez Real, Gnarly's favorite cocktail Mezcal is made from 100% Espadin from Santiago Matalan, Oaxaca. Made by Maestro Mezcalero Antonio Lopez, the agave piñas are roasted in an earthen pit with volcanic rocks for 4-5 days, tahona ground, fermented in open air pine vats, and double distilled in copper stills. Subtle tropical fruit and sweet agave notes are balanced by light smokiness, distinct minerality and a clean finish. At 45% abv, it's perfect for Palomas, Mezcalitos or our fave, on so many levels..... the Naked and Shameless!
