Tuesday Evening *All Levels* 3-Week Wheel Throwing w/ Maggie Connolly September 2025

During this class we will cover multiple throwing and altering techniques. New students will learn foundational basics such as throwing, trimming and glazing. Returning students will explore basic ideas that can be done without tools and using your hands to incorporate grooves, dimples, and swirls, we will explore changing the shape of your thrown pieces. Moving forwards we will work with simple tools like ribs and wire tools to cut and shape pots on the wheel and discuss ideas on making tools for your own designs.  Your first bag of clay and 4 weeks of studio time (3 weeks class/open studio, one week open studio) are all included. This is a 3-week course. Each sequential course will take place on the following week on the same day/time.
