Tuesday Evening Handbuilding with Amanda Humphreys August 2024

With a focus on functional wares, this six-week course will introduce students to several main handbuilding processes such as slab construction, pinch pots and press molds. Surface decoration techniques and glazing will be covered as well. All skill levels welcome! Your first bag of clay, pottery tool kit & bat (for new students), and 8 weeks of studio time (6 weeks class/open studio, 2 weeks open studio only) are all included.  Previous experience of at least one 6-week class required for ‘returning’.
