This is most often seen as a hanging basket or container plant, where its mostly sideways to pendant growth habit best displays the 2" flowers in termial sprays. But it can form a partially upright shrub to 3' or so if clipped. This can be found grown as a garden ornamental throughout the tropics, subtropics and points north to anywhere it gets an extended, direct freeze, at which point it becomes a container subject or even a houseplant. Hummingbirds love it, of course, as it is native to the land of their people.
