This is a unique multi-directional thread pre-loaded into a 18G W-Type cannula. It is 15cm long and has multi-directional barbs molded across 9.5cm of the thread. Because the direction of barbs alternates, it securely anchors onto soft tissue in all directions. It is often used as a supplementary thread to bi-directional thread to “super glue” or “velcro” them into place.
