Description: Kerman, Southeastern Iran, has been a center of handmade carpet production since the 17th century, with its golden age of carpet making begin in the 1800's. They display a revivalist design, based on earlier classical traditions and European influences, with a distinctive color palette, which includes reds, pinks Tyrolean purple, pale blue and ivory. The knotting and color palette used indicates it's origin as stated. Condition: There is some discoloration around one of the corners, with some areas with sun exposure.
