
Stone Setting Fundamentals: Flush, Grain, Bezel & Prong | November 19-20
Schedule:Day 1 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (lunch12-1)Day 2 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (lunch 12-1) Class Overview: A 2 day introduction to setting stones in jewelry using a variety of traditional techniques. On Day 1, we’ll cover flush and grain setting, how to sharpen your gravers, modify your tools for various sized stones, and how to troubleshoot or replace damaged stones. Day 2 will focus on bezel and prong setting fundamentals; learning how to properly measure, bur, and clean each setting. All practice will be done on bronze plates and rings but feel free to bring your own piece in your metal choice to set with my guidance. By the end of the class, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to continue practicing on your own pieces!
