Wax Build Up & Casting Stones In Place | October 22-23

Schedule: Day 1 11:00 am – 5:00 pm                         Day 2 12:00 pm-5:00 pm Class Description: In this 2 day hands on class, you will explore the wax build up technique, create organic textures in your ring and learn the fundamentals to successfully casting gemstones in place using flush and claw settings. After casting your jewelry overnight, on day 2 you will learn how to properly recreate any texture that may be lost when removing the sprue after casting and of course, personally bring your ring to final polish! Each student will leave with a finished sterling silver ring (up to 10g of 925), cast in place with up to three 2mm moissanite and one 3mm teal Montana sapphire.
