Beautiful vintage Retro era 14k yellow gold created ruby solitaire ring, circa 1940s! This classic ring features a prong-set round faceted created ruby gemstone. The shoulders have lovely engraved designs. A timeless piece of fine jewelry, dating from the fabulous '40s! ERA - Circa 1940s / Retro METAL / MATERIAL - 14k yellow gold, 1 created ruby (approx. 10 mm gem, unable to get proper carat weight due to closed back setting). (Created gemstones are chemically the same as their natural counterparts, but are made in a lab by man. The process for creating colored gemstones was invented in the 1800s.)
