
SHAPELY ORANGE BITOSSI VASE DESIGNED BY ALDO LONDI FOR RAYMOR
A very substantial 60s orange-glazed vase with a floral motif designed by Aldo Londi and produced at Bitossi Ceramiche for Raymor. The feminine shape is accented with unglazed bands at the neck, 'hips,' and foot giving the vase a rather rustic feel. There is a flat chip measuring roughly one-half inch at the base that blends in so well that we almost failed to notice it (see photos).
