These handcrafted pieces are made from authentic reclaimed hand hewn barn beams salvaged in Pennsylvania, Maryland and New York dating back to as early as the mid 1700's! Hand Hewn beams are highly sought after and are very unique. We like to refer to them as snowflakes because like snowflakes, no two are the same. Each and every pioneer and craftsman had their own style of hewing a log. These unique characteristics help tell the story of each piece we salvage.
