Cinnabar is a mercury sulphide mineral with a hardness of 2 to 2.5. Its crystal system is trigonal. It forms around volcanic vents and hot springs and may also occur in sedimentary rocks associated with recent volcanic activity. It's main use: Cinnabar is a stone of prosperity, and it teaches us how to manifest energy into physical form. Often used in alchemy and magic to affect the transformation of energy.
