Bejmat 2" x 6"

Bejmat tiles are Moroccan subway tiles that have been used since way before subways were a thing. Shaped into 2" x 6" bricks that are almost 3/4" thick they can be used in a variety of patterns. Stagger them, stack them, alternate vertical and horizontal designs or lay them as a standard brick design the choice is yours. Similar to Zellige, the irregular glazing, colors, and imperfections of bejmat evoke their handmade quality making them perfectly imperfect. Simo, the owner of Moroccan Mosaic & Tile House, was born and raised into the tile business in Morocco.
