In this piece, I decided to bike to one of my favorite beaches in Palm Beach Florida, where this boat has remained for as long as I’ve known. This is the second painting of this same scene in which the first piece was completed 10 years ago.  I loved the way the seagrape leaves provided a safe place for this incredibly beautiful boat as the bright sun gleamed off the opulent road.  The delicate and dry leaves on the ground brought in an incredible warmth and at the same time, impermanence to the scene.
