Two Flaming HEARTS Intertwined Arrow Antique FRENCH Blue Enamel 18k Gold Wedding 7mm Wide Band Ring Stacker

ABOUT:Romantic French regional antique ring in 18k gold, decorated at the center with two flaming hearts in gold pierced with an arrow, surrounded by blue enamel. Geometric details at each shoulder as well with black enamel outline. Beautiful warm and rich antique gold patina. I found this is Belgium but it is French in origin, as the two countries histories were intertwined. French antique hallmarks used primarily in the 1800s for 18k gold. I have seen and offered a few of these over the years and have one in my personal collection, but this is the first I have seen with the two hearts motif. These were actually worn as wedding bands during the Victorian period even by men. Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. MEASUREMENTS:The ring is a size 9 1/2 on my mandrel.
