F/A-18F Super Hornet

First entered service in 2001, as a larger and more capable variant based on the F/A-18 Hornet airframe. The F/A-18F (F is the two-seater variant) Super Hornet Block III is the newest variant of the Super Hornet featuring a significant reduction in its Radar Cross Section (RCS), increased fuel capacity with the addition of Conformal Fuel Tanks (CFT), and enclosed weapon pods. Boeing is set to deliver 78 Block III Super Hornets by 2033.
