Onyx Racings' excellent made-in-USA hubs are beautiful to behold, and offer excellent performance for tandems. The Sprag Clutch design offers silent operation from the rear hub, as well as excellent durability and service life. Onyx hubs are completely rebuildable and serviceable and will provide a practical lifespan of use for even the most dedicated tandem team. Available in multiple anodized or powder-coated colors, and even available as a custom powder coat color (additional charge applies). Our top of the line wheelset! Onyx Racing hubs laced to Nox Composites carbon rims. The rims Nox makes for us have a specific layup and drilling for tandem use, and include Nox's full user warranty and crash replacement program. We use Sapim Force triple-butted spokes and locking brass nipples. All MTB Tandems carbon wheelsets are build with spoke nipple washers for extra durability.
