RME OctaMic XTC 8-channel, 24 bit / 192 kHz remote controllable Microphone preamp, AES/EBU, ADAT and CC mode OCTA-XTC The RME OctaMicXTC is a professional eight-channel digital microphone preamp & USB 2.0 interface that features recording up to 192 kHz, provides AES/EBU and ADAT digital input/output, and supports the powerful multi-channel audio protocol(MADI). The OctaMic XTC is embedded with one MADI optical port that offers up to 64 channels of MADI I/O at 48 kHz. It also boasts eight balanced XLR/TRS mic/line inputs. Four of these inputs feature a pad for recording loud sound sources, and the other four can be switched to accept direct Hi-Z input from electric guitars and basses.
