Steampunk Mechanical Watchworks Silver Dagger Quartz Bullet Necklace

I set an antique deconstructed watch works inside a flat silver wire setting, and attached a tiny antiqued silver dagger and a ruby gemstone cabochon. I then added a quartz crystal silver bullet pendant and a 24 inch silver chain. The first daggers appeared in the Bronze Age about 3000 B.C. A dagger represents courage and a true heart. The ruby is a symbol of friendship and love when given as a gift. To own a ruby is to have contentment and peace. Some gemstone healers suggest you place a ruby under your pillow to ward off bad dreams and improve lucid dreaming. Combining mechanical items like vintage watch parts with items like crystals is something that I think makes each item stand out, and yet be a part of the whole Steampunk creation. I like the idea of being able to recycle vintage items and turn them into something new. It is recycling in its finest form.
