This is a Custom Shop '56 Active Stratocaster, built just like Eric Claptons signature model down to the spec, minus the headstock signature is finished in a Relic Midnight Blue finish over an ash body, and is built by Todd Krause – the man responsible for building Claptons personal instruments. The soft "V" shape of the neck paired with a 9.5" radius and vintage style frets feels great for rhythm playing, and the bridge tone knob serves as a control for an active mid-boost circuit.
