Parthenos sylvia, also known as the Clipper, is a nymphalid butterfly species commonly found in the forests of south and southeast Asia. Known for its speed, this butterfly often flaps its wings stiffly in a horizontal position, gliding in between bursts of flapping. The specimen is beautifully preserved in a 5“ x 5“ frame. *Each of my framed shadow boxes are crafted for lasting beauty and protection.
