Pennsylvania: The Keystone State

Pennsylvania, the Keystone State, was central to the foundation of the United States, much like the keystone holds together an arch. It hosted the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the drafting of the Constitution in Philadelphia. The state is also known for its rich industrial history, particularly in steel, and the natural resource of the Pennsylvania Coal Region. Pennsylvania's diverse landscapes range from the urban Philadelphia to the scenic Pocono Mountains.
