"El Baile de Las Cintas" is a vibrant 20"x24" cultural scene of the dance of the ribbons, a game or folkloric party celebrated in some villages in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Latin American countries, painted by the Dominican naif painter José Morillo. Jose Morillo was born in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic, in 1975 and now lives in Constanza. He is currently considered the most prominent naive painter in Dominican art and is represented by Myriam Nader Art Gallery in New York.
